Who runs this site

Toms River Watch is an independent, informal resident group, not a registered nonprofit, business, or government body. Use of this site does not create any client, membership, or fiduciary relationship.

Not affiliated with the Township

This site is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Toms River Township, Ocean County, or any government agency. For official information, consult the Township's own website.

Public content

Anything posted to the News feed or Forum is public and may be read, quoted, or shared by anyone, including the Township, HABcore, other organizations named on this site, or the press. Do not post information you want kept private.

Forum conduct

Use of the forum is subject to the moderation policy posted there. We may remove content or restrict access at our discretion to keep discussion civil and on-topic.

No legal advice

Nothing on this site, including the fact sheet, news posts, or template letter, constitutes legal advice. Consult a licensed attorney for guidance specific to your situation.

Donations

Donations are processed by a third-party platform under its own terms (see the Legal Fund page). Toms River Watch is not a registered 501(c)(3); donations are not tax-deductible unless otherwise noted.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site and the group's structure evolve. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
